He’s a complex character, and as we’ve seen from the previous books in the series, he can be serious and broody. I’m looking forward to diving into his character and seeing what lurks deep inside. I can just tell it’s going to be a journey and one I am sure you will all enjoy.

What I’m working on this week: I’m working on book two in the NOLA Defiance Series. I love writing these new brothers, and I can’t wait for you all to meet these crazy guys.
What I’m watching: We just finished binging Bridgerton S2 in two days – the loss of sleep is tolerable only because it’s Bridgerton! We loved it. Now we’re catching up on The Resident S5 – I was not prepared! Holy guacamole Batman, this season, I’ve needed all the tissues! But then again, I am a cryer while Mama Kay, who’s sitting next to me, is like, ‘Harden up, Kim.’ lmao!
Something I’m grateful for:
My nana.
She won’t see this, but I am grateful for her every day. She is so supportive of my mum and me. But whenever we have a down day or need a friendly ear, she is always there to cheer us up. My nana is the first person to celebrate my book wins. Even though she says my books are too racy for her to read, she is so proud of me anyway. I know she talks about me to all the ladies at her retirement village with so much pride. Thank you, Nana, for being my biggest supporter and for the comfort we can always count on.
