I am incredibly excited to bring you guys the first installment of the NOLA Defiance MC series. Hurricane is a whirlwind of chaos, sex appeal, and grit. His character is like none I’ve ever written before; he’s totally in a league of his own. An alphahole with a tragic past made him into the broken man he is today. He’s brutal and dismissive, but if you can somehow capture his heart, he will love you with everything he has.

I adore this new chapter of the Defiance MC, and I hope you guys will fall hard for these guys and sassy girls I have created to keep the men on their toes.

What I’m working on this week: I’ve started my search for muse pictures and begun plotting character profiles for a little something new – it’s not MC! I know, shocking, right? But I am super excited about this project. The main character you will meet in Gravitate. I can’t wait to get started on writing his story!

What I’m watching: We’re not binging on anything in particular, just hopping around between things, from The Rookie to The Resident to 911 and The Good Doctor. But most nights are taken up with Big Brother and The Voice. I totally love this season of BB, by the way. If you’re watching BB Australia, it’s Original Housemates vs. Newbies, and it’s so awesome to see all the old housemates return to the show. The drama is so entertaining. Plus, who doesn’t love Reggie!

Something I’m grateful for: 
My new desk and office set up.
It looks great and is incredible to work at now I have an ergonomic adjustable desk. I love it so much, and it looks and feels fantastic—it’s a massive improvement on my old setup. I’m pleased I could get this change done, although it took some time to get it just right, it was absolutely worth it. I am one lucky author!
