Dash is a prospect for the club, and that duty comes above all else. And that might just be the wedge that drives between them. Or will it be the fact that Dash had a massive crush on Ivy before they met, and Ivy is still at the club and is now also a prospect looking to Dash for guidance?
There’s so many layers to this story, so many issues for Dash and Shadow to work through. I hope you enjoy their journey as much as I enjoyed writing it!

What I’m working on this week:
I’m working hard on Deceptive, Book Six of The Houston Defiance MC. I love the drama in this book. So much betrayal… you guys are gonna love this one!
What I’m watching:
Well, for the past two weeks, I have been avidly watching the Olympics. “Aussie Aussie Aussie, oi, oi, oi.” But now that’s finished, I think we’re going to start on S.W.A.T. from season one. I’ve heard good things, plus Shemar More so, you know!
Something I’m grateful for:
The world is a chaotic place at the moment. And I was one of those people who thought the Olympics shouldn’t have gone ahead. That it was too dangerous for the athletes. BUT, I watched the games, I LOVED the games. I was inspired by the comradery and the sportsmanship. For two weeks, I forgot what was happening in the world, and I was uplifted. Seeing the world unite in something delightful and exciting was so damn nice for a change.
We needed this.
I needed this.
I am grateful that I was able to have two weeks of joy in a world that appears so dim right now.
Well done, Tokyo, and thank you.
